Full Stack Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, CyberSec Expert, Automation Engineer, AI Practitioner just to name a few…
I'm Philip Scherzinger, a full-stack software engineer based in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. With over 15 years of experience in the technology sector, I bring a deep background in software engineering, site reliability, and technical architecture. Most recently, I held leadership roles at IntegriChain, where I specialized in system design, engineering management, and infrastructure strategy.
Originally from Staten Island, New York, I’ve spent the bulk of my career partnering with top pharmaceutical companies to solve complex challenges in contract management and revenue operations. My work is driven by a mission: to use technology as a force for better healthcare outcomes. I’m especially passionate about designing systems that help reduce prescription costs and improve access to care.
I joined IntegriChain through the acquisition of the Cumberland Life Sciences group, where I was deeply involved in the M&A process—both before and after the deal closed. Post-merger, I was tasked with ensuring operational continuity of our Azure-based infrastructure while leading the strategic migration of systems and services to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
This transition included major infrastructure projects such as network consolidation, VPN and routing reconfiguration, DNS and domain migrations, database transitions, and comprehensive application refactoring. My work spanned both IaaS and PaaS platforms across Azure and AWS, often balancing legacy support with forward-looking architecture.
In the final years of my tenure, I stepped into the role of Engineering Manager while continuing to serve as a Technical Architect. In this dual capacity, I collaborated closely with developers to identify and resolve pain points across the development pipeline, product design, user experience, and application performance.
One of my key achievements was leading the transformation of a monolithic application into five distinct product segments. This included a shift to a scalable deployment model, leveraging containerized web worker instances and cloud-native architecture. These modernization efforts brought the platform up to current standards in performance, scalability, and maintainability—positioning the product for long-term success and growth.

2013 – 2020
I joined through the acquisition of the Mindlance Life Sciences group, where my responsibilities spanned both client-facing consulting and internal cloud infrastructure leadership.
On the consulting side, I specialized in revenue management and contract lifecycle solutions, including Revitas Flex (all modules), ContractSphere (iMany/Pre-Flex), and iMany Classic. I was frequently brought in to lead performance optimization and systems integration efforts—particularly around interface design and throughput efficiency. Over the course of my tenure, I contributed to more than 10 major client projects, including engagements with 7 of the Fortune Top 10 pharmaceutical companies.
Beyond delivery, I also played a key role in the pre-sales lifecycle, participating in RFP responses and sales initiatives by providing technical strategy and solution architecture to support deal development and client confidence.
Internally, I managed all cloud operations for Cumberland, maintaining full ownership of our Azure environment. I worked closely with executive leadership to ensure our cloud architecture and roadmap aligned with evolving business goals and client expectations.

Mindlance Life Sciences
2010 –2013
I was recruited prior to graduating college and quickly immersed in pharmaceutical revenue management consulting. Over the course of more than 10 client projects, I served as a technical consultant focused on implementing and supporting complex contract and revenue systems for enterprise clients.
As my role evolved, I was promoted to Lead Technical Consultant and took on broader responsibilities, including oversight of the company’s internal IT infrastructure. One of my key accomplishments during this time was leading three successive data center migrations—from a server closet, to a dedicated room, and ultimately to a small data center—without disrupting daily business operations.
This early chapter laid the foundation for my expertise in scalable infrastructure, client engagement, and high-stakes system transitions.
